This is an advance notice of several changes coming to the Timeline feature within the next couple of days:

1. Atlas Routes will be able to be changed directly by Admins. This has been a really long-pending request, but will now be available.

ALL Established Members (> 100 positive opinions) will directly be able to make Timeline updates to stations, trains, locos, etc. (Everything except Atlas routes)

3. When regular Members make updates, ONLY the Timeline will get updated. The actual Train, Station, etc. will NOT get updated. The corresponding Timelines will have a status of WaitList, and will be available in a separate "WL Timeline" list.
.
4. There will be Confirm and Void buttons on WL Timeline entries, available ONLY to Admins. Any ** Admin would be able to click on the "Confirm" button to APPROVE the update. When the "Confirm" button is clicked, the corresponding Train, Station, Loco will get immediately updated with the information contained in the Timeline. The Timeline's status will change to "Confirmed".

5. The Timeline will have credits for "Updated By" (member) and "Confirmed By" (admin) with the corresponding timestamps.
.
6. Once again, WL Timeline entries will lead to NO changes. ONLY Confirmed Timeline entries will result in actual changes to the site. This is to preserve the integrity of updates.

7. ALL Timeline updates will be enabled for Imaginary trains.

8. Members will ALSO be able to make Timeline updates to other members' Imaginary trains. But only the Timeline will be updated with a status of WL. The creator member will be able to Confirm the WL Timeline to actually apply the changes to his/her Imaginary train.

The following are the benefits of this scheme:
1. Members will not have to create separate blogs asking Admins to update. Admins will not have to re-type in the entire tedious info. One quick Confirm button click will do the job.

2. Members will be credited for their individual updates and Admins will be credited for their updates & confirmations.

3. All member credits will reflect in the Member profile.

#FM to actually first atleast ask the member to delete the blog if he/she doesn't delete the blog than the #FM can go ahead with removing the blog. But what is the point in blocking an ID?? This is totaly dictatorial behavior.

my only offence was i wrote something in urdu to actually check if blogging on this site is urdu compatible or not, just for fun, just like we have a joke category. (clarifying, no fun was being made of language, keeping its integrity intact).

But some adamant #FM not only deleted my blog but blocked my id.
its been 3 yrs since i joined this site and have raised such kind of issues so many times but haven't got any reply from you. but this is enough, our fundamental right "Right to freedom of expression" has been challenged here. Request you to kindly look into this.
Some important transcripts have been deleted so that justifications become much more hard, so just attaching whatever i'm could fetch.
