If you want to travel by SL.
Buy ticket from CHE/Srikakulam Road its now AVBL 317. Next day change the Boarding point at PRS. If you are buying an eticket, Xerox copy of identity proof is need to change the Boarding Point.

diversion or skipping vskp by few new trains is more practicle ., beside diverting few existing ., but by putting trains ex vskp to howrah/mas/banglore & hyd each one daily

Mr raju...
Its not like people wont think out of region....actually the trains which are diverted mostly cause problems to the people who travels on those train than VSKP people.
Except Amaravathi vskp has alternate for remainig skipping trains, the problem is people who travel from howrah or BZA will miss most modernised station in the way.
They can buy some stuff, even water
...
filling, any medical assitance will easily provided in a big station like VSKP.
In over all run they are not getting benifited any time by diverting these trains....
These diverstions troubling fright moment of Vizag steel plant, ntpc some other companies...which makes ECOR to loss some on it.
If you are not getting benifited whats the use of diverting which is not benifitial to any one. 10-15 min in a 30 hr journey nothing....That VSKP station has 8 platforms now and interlocking system available....they can run these trains without slack time also. Then where is the problem ???
Till now Vizag is the biggestion city and station in between HWH-CHENNAI ....vskp is almost center of these stations...Dont u think its foolishness to avoid this station biggest station in route without any benifit ??
duvvada is 17 km away from vizag station, almost 35 km from vizag main city..
For a 2 tire city like vizag 30 km is so far....
Coimbettur diverstions station is below 10 kn, even kharagapur's hijji station also below 5 km from station...but for vizag its 17 km...which is so long.
People are asking to develop NSCM station which is 8 km from city and then they are ok with diverstions....why not railways atleast wont do that for people ??/
NSCM is already having 3 platforms , it just need a reservation counter....duvvada just has only 2 plat forms...still 60 odd trains stopping there...Dont you think people wont observe this discrimination....if these things happen then why cannot people got anger on system ??? So never estimate the people of a place with comments..
Thank u

Added.
To go out of Duvvada station we have to go through 2 over bridges.
One from arriving platform to PF1 and the one to go out side.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
