A series of pictures taken on 23-03-2019 when HWH WAP4 22331 shunted out to take charge of the incoming 13425 MLDT-ST Express. 13425 arrived with HWH WAP4 22736. 22331 ready to depart with 13425 from DGR.

The date of posting of this video is 14-07-2017 which is a Friday. This train runs only on Saturday, which was 15th. Did you shoot this video on 08-07-2017? If yes, then I was on board B7 on that day & it did rain at the time of departure. Had we known, we could have met.

Please note that a TSR of 50 KMPH is in place on the Down slow line. This is the only reason for such quick acceleration by 12314 & overtake 12340 "with too much ease". If both the tracks were under same conditions (which normally is), then 12340 would have given 12314 a run for its money. I have experienced this for a number of times on board 12340. With a simultaneous departure from DGR, 12340 had raced parallel for almost up to Rajbandh (RBH) after which the 110+ KMPH came into factor.
Twice I had experienced this with 12302 also. If 12314 & 12302 runs back to back & on time, then often you will see 12302 slow down or stop at...
