i want to travel (family with kids)from ayodhya to varanasi on 19167 sabarmati express sometime in the next 2 days… there are no tickets available online (sleeper, 2nd or 3rd ac).
My qn, is it advisable to travel with sleeper/unreserved tickets assuming the train might not be that crowded by the time it reaches Ayodhya? only 5 stops between Ayodhya and Varanasi..

12542 LTT GKP super fast, does this train halt at Babhnan on the way to gorakhpur from Mumbai
The irctc website does not list babhnan as a halt but some of my friends mentioned that it does halt for a minute .
Let me know if u have any personal experience.

An update, in case if it helps someone. I took this train and it does halt in Babhnan on the way from LTT to GKP.. I am not sure about the other way round.

santoshT11 12 blog postsquestion, I understand that officially this train does not halt at Babhnan(from Gonda it stops at Basti), but I have heard from some people that this train stops in Babhnan. If someone knows can you please share your experience...Need to plan my travel accordingly. I am 15 kms from Babhnan and 80 kms from Gonda... So would be nice to know if this train stops.

Hi,
I need some help in understanding the seat layout in 12542 / LTT GKP SUP EXP. I have booked tickets in 2AC in the train and the seat numbers are 49,50,51,52. I wanted to know if these berths are in the same aisle, e.g: 49,50 and 51,52 facing each other. I am travelling with family and I do not want to travel with 2 people sitting at one place and the remaining 2 across the aisle. Please help.

Understood, but if there are 48 berths then how is it that the seat numbers that i have start from 49? Any idea? I am thinking of booking another ticket and then cancelling this. I even called the irctc call-center but it was not very helpful either.
