i hv been using this site since a number of years and it has been exceptional. i cud bank on it for all railway related info. Suddenly , it seems a new update IRI 4. has been launched which has made the earlier version redundant. i am a senior citizen of old school and am finding the updating process very cumbersome. wud someone help me get over this difficulty ? or, cudnt the earlier version b effective simultaneously.

ARP begins at 12.30 am. on the particular day for e-ticket or is the reservation activated only at 8:00 am. for that day. In other words if the ARP begins tomorrow , will i be able to book my ticket at 12:30 am tomorrow ???

it was suggested on the blog that SLR coaches on Jansadharan Trains also function as ladies general compartments . Is this true ? Does SLR also stands for "Special Ladies Rake" ? .... How can women travellers,luggage, parcels and freight , all fit into the same compartment ? are there seats and berths?
