our IR top commercial officials should be awarded with best pricing experts in the world. They are not only making fun of themselves but IR and our country as well. Non sense.

For Suvidha there is a fixed pattern of fare structure can say slab system...When 3AC coaches are pretty high in count as the bookings keep coming in the fare is invariably goes higher than 2AC where in demand could be slightly less than 3AC.

With a little bit of economical understanding, its not tough to understand this situation. The current fares that we see on the 2 classes is based on a pre-set algorithm and simply takes into account the demand factor vs supply available. For this to be sorted out, it would require manual intervention of officials at every instance which is difficult. BTW, there are many times when the executive seats of an aircraft are priced less than those of the economy, simply because there are no takers for the 'pricey' class, but what the passengers are actually doing is to create a rush in the lower class which soars the prices to an equivalent price or more than that of the executive seats. Its a world-wide practice followed by any organisation which intends to be commercially viable. Its in existence since early 1900s. IR has started doing it in 2015.

situation for the common man but this is all its really about and would only go worse from the user point of view as we move forward. In any country whose population is growing rapidly and the resources are dwindling at a faster rate, the demand supply gaps increases and it leads to such kinds of anti-populist policies. And India is perhaps the worst affected by this scenario.

Who created the time table for this train?
From VSKP to SLO only 65 mins is alloted to cover 150 kms..
Too hilarious yar.. so the controllers want falaknuma to do an avg of 138 kmph between vskp-slo with icf coaches in a route which is not even cleared for an mps of 130 kmph.. Ridiculous..

was a surprise that 12039/40 got LHB rake and to enjoy this surprise I took a ride just to travel in the train. The comfort has increased more than anyone can imagine. Traveled last time in ICf one and it was very tough to sip morning tea when the train is at MPS. so now the problem has solved. The train crew is still the same but some extra technician were there for smooth working of AC in coaches. It was amazing to see LHB standing in front of big hilly mountains. Last time LKO premium LHB was in kathgodam but could not get time for to see it.The interior of train was very nice as seats were new with plastic wrapped. The train started at 3:35 and the water bottles were provided. Near Haldwani the evening snacks were provided. 1 Sandwitch 1 Paties 1 Fresco Lemon water Tea/cofee I Noga ketchup 1 Sohan cake was provided. The taste was amazing. The train was on time or before time on every station. Speed was good but it would had been better with EMD. The soup was served near Moradabad and taste was good. The dinner was also tasty as the previous one. The overall journey experience was 200% of previous rake. ICF rake of shatabdi did not have table in between the coach this one had.
