Keeping in view the load of trains in this particular section, I think, SER won't take necessary action to double the line in near future till Silli Illoo loop line is completed. However, this single track route has tremendously been upgraded in between Chandil & MURI recently in all respect.

मुख्यालय तो होना ही चाहिए रांची में भले बंगालियों को इसके लिए कुछ खटक रहा है। कोलकाता ने बहुत मलाई खा चुका है अब धनबाद मंडल को भी साउथ ईस्टर्न रेल में मिलाकर इसका मुख्यालय रांची में स्थानांतरित किया जाए।

Most seats available ate being kept for sale as Tatkal & Premium Tatkal.
All Specials trains are running with extremely high fare.
