yeah there were some disadvantages like waking up early and going a bit long distance in that foggy weather...but back to back 8-10 trains in the span of 2 hours in that single track is something priceless feel for a rf :)

I guess the original blogger mentioned about SC-GNT line, but this train is on SC-KRNT line....but discussion holds good as both are single and diesel lines :D

though fund allotment for doubling is more, single line electrification wont serve the purpose much when traffic density is high....:(

True Doubling is badly needed....recently i travelled in Raichur DEMU and to reach Mahabubnagar only we took close to 3 and half hrs :(

No sir, it has already crossed bridge near lalaguda and after malkajgiri it has to switch tracks to join the line leading to MLY....the straight line seen on the right goes towards CVB :)
