it is because all lhb rakes like August Kranti Rajdhani is having CBC ie Centre Buffe Coupling. Its benefit is strong hold with bogies, it is the same coupling used in Goods train. The drawback is, its jerk, whenever train stops or starts or slows suddenly or brake is applied, jerks will come

It is just like air fare, the later and less seats available the fare goes up. Instead of booking a premium for such high price book in flight and it will cost you just a little more and will save around 10 hrs of time too..

Mumbai to Mangalore by train and from Mangalore to Madikeri by bus via Puttur, Sullia. Another option is Mumbai to Mysore by train. From Mysore to Madikeri by bus via Hunsur, Kushalnagar.

Both are correct. ICF coaches are permitted for speed of 110kmph and do cross the barriers for couple of mins.
If you measured the speed with an gps app, then do count the error it gives around 10%. Still, 115 for 10 mins is acceptable too.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
