Travelled by Jnaneshwari Express from Howrah to Mumbai; reached today morning. The journey in 3AC was horrible, with cockroaches all over and rats making merry. I have used this train many times, never expected this to happen. Ostensibly, maintenance of the coaches has gone to the dogs.

Yes, I have complained. Hopefully things will improve. It pains that one of the best trains on this sector is being treated so shabbily.
I travelled in April this year. Do not recollect things being so bad, otherwise I would have commented in this column. And I have also travelled in this train in the very first month of the run, of course, things were very different then.
It is. But on the other hand, there were efforts being made to keep the train clean from garbage while the train was in motion. It probably is the case of negligence when the train remains idle at the yards.
