Yes.
You need to inform TTE regarding the same as 2 pax will be boarding the train from ED and TTE will do the needful.

You have to inform the TTE as soon you get in the train.

u ll be considered without ticket from cbe to ed even though u have paid the fare for it. to avoid that, book an unreserved ticket from cbe to ed and then board ur coach

I dont know why some people above are giving advice on what to book and what BP to choose. The OP has already booked the ticket and selected his BP. His question is whether he can board from the original starting point. The straight answer is NO. You will be treated as unreserved, unticketed in the CBE ED section.

If you have changed your boarding point to ED then you lose all rights to board the train form CBE. A penalty can be imposed if you are boarding from CBE for ticketless travelling

Once the BP is changed , you loose your rights to travel from the original booking point to new BP. ie. you cant travel with the same ticket from CBE till ED.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

A minor update, but may impact many members: Hereafter, FMs will be able to delete invalid Red Flags on Imaginary trains. -@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
