Hopefully this will open IR's eyes to use a better grade of Steel for making its Rails.
With so many track failures being reported, some even resulting in accidents, what root cause is the IR doing to find out the reason for the failure of the rails? Perhaps they should change the specification of the rails and opt for a steel that can withstand the current requirement of being able to withstand heavy and fast rakes, no to mention withstand the corrosive action of human excreta as well.
