What is exactly GNWL/AVAILABLE? There is no indication of count. I am trying to book a ticket, but the status says GNWL/AVAILABLE. I tried booking the same after payment Status says WL and Current Status CNF. Berth no/Waiting List is 41,42. Please explain this. Thanks

Thanks. So if I cancel the ticket now. How the cancelation works one ticket or confirmed will that take cancelation charges for that.

as per new tatakal rule, will we be able to book one ticket under one PNR or four in one PNR. Please clarify. Thanks

Hello,
Today at 00:30 Hrs, I tried to book ticket for Duronto Express for 26 Sep 2014. But I was not getting the Book Now option, only available ticket count is there. As far as I know, we can book ticket 60 days prior and I thought I will be able to book. I waited till 2:45 AM to see if the Book Now option is made available, but it didnt. I was checking for a 3A ticket, morning when I woke up and saw its already in WL51 after which there is no more bookings allowed. Is this some kind of trick, why I was not able to book after 00:30 Hrs when its clearly mentioned everywhere in IRCTC website that,...

Thanks for the detailed explanation, now this make things clear. I was in an impression that from 00:30 Hrs booking opens. Just our of curiosity, is this information available as an official document somewhere in Indianrailways website or IRCTC? Thanks
