The time slot for the Bangalore - Kazipet sector is available on Monday, Wednesday & Saturday. Other days it is occupied by other trains. Kazipet - NZM timeslot is available. The SR timetable committee sitting in Chennai knews this very well, but no action is taken. May be SCR timetable committee has to coordinate, as this train runs more distance in SCR region. If this train is extended to Chandigarh, passengers can visit Simla & Manali which are only 4 hours drive. It will be more helpful if this train is routed thru' Coimbatore, instead of Podanur. People who settled in CBE from Davanagere & Shimoga can use this train to visit their places. People from Chamraj Nagara, can travel by bus as it takes only 3 hours from CBE. But to Shimoga and Davanagere takes 10-12 hours by bus via. Mysore (Ghat Session).Hence this train should be routed thru' CBE. This will help passengers getting down at Kollam at 6:30 AM and TRV at 8:30 AM. Else this train reaches at 10:30 in TRV which is very odd!!!! This train(2684) and 2608 which runs on Tue&Thu/Mon timings should be changed to 18:50 Hrs, which will be helpful for passengers getting down in Trichur & Kochi at 4:30 AM & 6:30 AM respectively.
