Do AC class coaches of the trains have heating also?
I feel it is not as i have once asked to increase the temperature when it was 3deg out side and about 8 deg inside the coach on Hazrat nizamudin station in the morning at 5:30 hr, attendant was unable to do any thing. In this situation why the Railway is charging for AC, which can not work at all.

I wanted to know once cleared RAC seats are re-booked as RAC if cancellation is more then the require seats to clear RAC?
for example 8 RAC and 10 WL are booked on day one and 5 confirmed seats are cancelled on day two. The all RAC booked on day one are confirmed and one seat is empty. How this seat will be booked? waiting one will be cleared or waiting one and two are re-booked as RAC one and two?

Bookings doesnt happen that way. If confirmed seats are cancelled, RAC (and WL too) tickets will move up towards confirmation.
As in your example, when 5 confirmed passengers cancel their tickets, status of first 5 RAC passengers will become confirmed and status of first 5 WL passengers will become RAC.

I think that on cancellation of confirmed seats, both RAC and Wait-listed moves toward confirmation. Hence once all RAC are cleared, RAC is not created again. After this only wait-list tickets are issued.

RAC seats/berths are not cleared and created according to the cancellation of confirmed tickets.
There will be fixed number of RAC berths for each train and when available seats/berths are exhausted, RAC seats are issued while booking tickets.
Upon cancellation of confirmed berths, RAC tickets will move towards confirmation and WL tickets will move towards RAC. At the time of charting, if there are vacant berths (of all different quotas), it is allotted to RAC/ WL Passengers.

technically RAC clearance happens at the time of chart preparation only.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
