Kindly do inform us that whether you were able to change the Boarding Pt or Not.BEcause in N F Rly,I had bitter experience in the past, where I booked a GNWL ticket from IRCTC in 12510 from KOJ,to get the benefit of GNWL & later approached PRS NOQ & APDJ to change the boarding pt to NOQ.They denied to change saying that Boarding Point can be changed only when you get the benefit of GNWL from Originating Station,in that case from GHY.Here I'm afraid that PRS NBQ/SGUJ/NJP may also say the same thing because they come under the same jurisdiction.

To Avoid problem in changing the Boarding Pt,I would suggest you to book ur ticket from GHY,rather than from intermediate stations like NBQ/KOJ/NCB.Im giving u this suggestion purely based on my past experience.I dont know whether they've changed the rules after the new Tatkal Rules Implementation.

In Train, the TTE fined and told me that you were without ticket from NJP to KIR because your bording station was KIR not NJP. But I told the TTE that my ticket fare was from NJP to PNBE. the TTE was not agree with my statement. He told there are no provision in railway that you booked the ticket from NJP to PNBE and bording station was KIR and you should start from journey only from KIR not NJP. He also told me that you

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...

The modification to the TL Update scheme - i.e. the introduction of the new RAC System - has led to some efficiency with TL Updates. More TLs are being discussed, and quickly moved up. However, we still have on Average, about 300 Waitlisted TLs in the backlog at any time, and our hard-working and diligent TLMs...
