Every time these kind of demands and proposal sent to Railways from Bhopal but what we get, Nothing!. I read these kind of news each year that BPL Div railway officials sent certain demands to Rb to be fulfilled in budget but in return we get loads of passing trains and near to nill originating trains or either got trains which are not required like Bhopal-Bareily and HBJ-INDB_HBJ Double Decker Express, but genuine demands are not fullfilled. If each year one of the proposed train could have introduced na to till noe Bhopal could have get all of these trains but Railways didn't even see Bhopal. Not even Elections make the trains for MP specialy for Bhopal. We have to depend on Indore and Jabalpur Trains for Travelling to some cities because Indore and Jabalpur train have some chances of getting seats which is not the case with rest of 200...
trains passing from Bhopal. On the other hand politician spoils some of the good trains by demanding halts at station which do not even generate enough revenue for that trains like Bhopal Shatabdi. In reality direct trains to Pune, Mumbai, Banglore,Chennai,Allahabad,Varanasi,Kolkata, Bihar (Patna,MFP etc) is needed badly from bhopal. Bhopal is well connected within the Madhya Pradesh in terms of dedicated trains that to not very well connected with singrauli which is still a demand from many years. A morning train to Delhi is needed which can be started as Tejas Express between Bhopal jn and Hazrat Nizamuddinas the only morning train which will give us confirm seats is AP AC Express Punjab Mail and Jhelum are huge waitlisted but thay all take plenty of time to cover distance by introducing tejas we can reach delhi by afternoon. A daily Superfast Train to Muzaffarpur via Bina,Katni,Allahabad,Varanasi and Patna would be boon for UP/Bihar as well as Bhopal people as well as hundreds of Students from UP/Bihar who are studying in Bhopal also it will reduce the Load of Rewanhal Express. Pune Train is needed ,Hbj-Ltt should be made daily. Singrauli and Khajuraho Train should start ASAP, Train to Banglore via Chennai and Via Hydrabad is needed so that important southern cities could connect. But what for I know Bhopal still get Nothing but dissappointment.

As someone pointed earlier, being at the centre is the major reason for less trains, same is due for nagpur also. Anyways BPL station isn't very spacious and had severe space and yard constraints. The entrance to Pf 1 as well as Pf 6 is narrow and choked.
Coming to demand I think if they could somehow extend SC-NGP to HBJ then most probably it will somewhat solve the south connectivity and also a demand for intercity to NGP can be partially fulfilled.

Does being in the center means that we do not get dedicated connections? i think that is not a good reason to not give dedicated connection to important cities, even Bhopal is a Capital City of M.P then too its get Neglected, does being in center means we have to face difficulties to in getting tickets to travel to different places??No, Bhopal needs direct connectivity keeping the increasing population of city in mind. Madhya Pradesh still lacks n Railways many district doesnt even have rail lines like Raisen,Berasia people have to travel to Bhopal to get Trains and they face the similar situaton huge waitlist, we are also paying same amount to travel but not getting benefits in returns Bhopal and Habibganj are High revenue generating stations of India even Bhopal is in top 100 ticket booking stations of India but still situation is same. And space issues can be resolved,...
infact they are developing Habibganj for the same reason. It has a lot of space and if the Coaching Depot of Habibganj gets shifted to Misrod (which is in plan i hope) then 2 or 3 more platforms can be constructed at habibganj. which can make all bina/indore bound train to start from Habibganj and All Itarsi bound train to Bhopal jn making connection of all trains to both the main stations of Bhopal.

So in the last week of Jan around 31 Jan the trial of engine between SOY-Ghansore is fixed by the officials of SECR and most probably trial will be successfull but trial of light engine on Ghansore-NIR section is possible in March last week or April first week of 2017 so after the trial till NIR only and
after getting clearance from CRS to run trains till NIR then only existing passenger will be extended till NIR but anyways its a good news that time to time SECR officls are giving reports of particular section completion and light loco trial so hopefully by April 2/3 week trains will go till NIR from JBP once CRS and engine trial is done so good to see the pace of work b/w SOY-NIR

Again the sad news came that the deadline of opening SOY-NIR New BG section is extended to march 31,2017 due to incomplete work of this section and SECR is saying that 70% work is completed in SOY-NIR section but 20% work is still remaining and in many sections new line is also not laid and work of
Base work is going on so to complete all the work deadline is extended and hopefully after march 31,2017 we can expect trains on SOY-NIR section as trials may be started in the month of feb 2017 and by march 31 CRS trial may b done so just hope for the best but really SECR shud put pressure on contractors to complete work within deadline and not asking for extensions

To rid passengers of delayed arrival and departure to and from the city, five new platforms are being built, two at Charbagh railway station and three at Transportnagar. Charbagh has only nine platforms against the present-day requirement of 16 to operate more than 300 trains daily. Besides, short length of platforms makes them unfit to accommodate a 24-coach train.
A passenger station with a home and an island (with two faces) platform would be built at Transportnagar under the doubling and electrification of Utrethia-Alamnagar line while two island platforms will be constructed at Charbagh under the yard remodelling project.
will be developed as a passenger station and some trains operating from Charbagh will be routed through the section to reduce congestion and make operation of trains via Charbagh faster," said A K Lahoti, divisional railway manager (DRM), Northern Railway, Lucknow.

Charbagh has ennough space for 6 more platforms, why they content only with 2. They could have added 6 new platforms & then one by one they should have started lengthening of remining platforms.

Untill the Goods Yard is shifted from Charbagh to either Alamnagar or Transport Nagar, more than 2 or 3 platforms is not practical

First of all, not every month. Hence your fictional data is incorrect. Then secondly de-railment can happen any where and at any time because of multiple reasons. There is a possibility that someone might have done some miscreant activity with the fish plates. Not long before Jammutawi-Hatia express derailed because of that reason only.
Incidents are unfortunate and they never should have happened. Neither Rail accidents, nor the accidents on road. But what has happened has happened. Instead of playing blame game hope that this kind of incidents shouldn't happen again in the future.

Totally agree, instead of jumping on Talgo/Bullet bandwagon. First we should strengthen our basic infrastructure, our most of the RM's were short-sighted and never actually took care of Nation's lifeline. Instead just kept launching trains after trains without even caring about their maintenance and upgradation. Had LHB coaches been used, I believe we could have saved lots of lives.

Linking MML and HBG was always difficult due the the curves. HBG can be developed as a DEMU/MEMU shed so that DEMU/MEMU's can run from JBP to other near by cities. In ideal world, Adhartal would have been a better choice for terminal instead of MML due to availability of space.
MML me agar terminus banana hai toh Kachpura me hi yard banana padega, otherwise Adhartal se daily trains JBP station cross karke MML aaengi/jaengi. Jo ki befizul me JBP ka congestion increase karega.

At last JBP got many facilities as RM inaugurates various facilities by pressing 5-6 differnt buttons and Biggest of it is the new trains b/w JBP-SOY trains
and opening of BG track b/w JBP-SOY section as part of JBP-BTC-G BG project and various other facilities are a inaugurated as follows-
1-WIFI at JBP jn.
2-Multi facility building for passengers at JBP jn. Pl 6 side
3-water vending machine at JBP jn.
4-MML terminal work inauguaral
5-JBP-SOY new train inaugural
6-JBP-SOY new BG track opening
and MP and Vidhayaks from JBP also given various other demands letter to RM which includes Make JBP-PUNE spl as a regular train,make GR daily,provide new trains b/w JBP-HWH via BSP,JBP-Durg overnight exp. and speeding up the work of efication b/w ET-JBP-KTE-COI

Fantastic news, absolutely love it. Finally something to cheer for Mahakaushal region people. Hopefully we will see the completion of JBP-BTC soon.
Anyways what's the planning for MML as terminal. Whether any concrete layout has been presented, or just a mere declaration.

No wcr is having a strong project for mml terminal and now its officialy being inaugrated so work will start and may b by next yr we can see the mml terminal in reality and hopefully by then jbp-soy-nir section will be opened fully n more trains will ply towards nir and due to no station building at keq mml will play the crucial role in controlling nir-btc bound trains

Issue is with Pune side, WCR is trying everything from its end to regularize the special. Somewhere I read that Pune has some capacity handling issues and hence they aren't ready to regularize on the timings WCR asked for, instead they are giving some other timings which WCR is uncomfortable with.

I wonder why can't these people change the terminal or route then. JBP Pune via PNVL is sure to seek way more passengers than via DD. If still not possible, train origin can be shifted to CSMT.
