This is utter nonsense! They are ruining such a heavily patronised train! SWR is purposefully doing this only to Kerala trains. For any other train there is no space constraint at SBC or YPR. Only Kerala trains have no space. It is sa sad because there is no one anywhere to speak for Kerala or its people. This is so terrible!

True. The only probable slot seems to be at 1905 after Narayanadri when the two weekly specials depart. This would actually be quite suitable, since then people will have to waste only one day travelling instead of two now. But this will also mean that Sabari will become a superfast and a couple of stoppages might be eliminated.

It is very useful move to give stop at Baiyappanahalli. I think this is one of the first trains to stop here.
Yes, this is the first inter-state express train to stop at BYPL. The only other express stopping here is 16520 SBC-JTJ. Extremely useful since pax towards most of the rest of Bangalore including SBC can take the Metro!
