Why is he mentioning that 750 km Journey in SL class will cost only Rs 40/- more.He should mention that the Longest Journey(15906) will cost Rs 215/- more+Occassional Tatkal Charges+Dalal(Unscrupulous Element)Charges.Ridiculuos increase in fare structure!!!

I was in for of some % hike.But this is too much.For 3000 km Journey,passenger needs to pay Rs 150(Present Tatkal Surcharge) Extra.After all,very ordinary class of people travel in SL Coaches.They could've increased AC Fare.

But Sir,they'll now be collecting Tatkal Surcharge for Normal Tickets also.Bangalore City/Yesvantpur to Guwahati Fare for Sleeper Class increased by Rs 150/- !!!!!
Yesvantpur to Howrah Fare increased by 98.15 Rs.Too Much burden for Normal Middle Class people,after all we only travelin Sleeper Class.You're retired employee getting very good pension from SBI,but we're not getting Jobs.Very difficult for us.:(

Ya presently SBC to GHY 2992 km.Fare Rs 591/-(Booking from PRS)(Rs 601+Payment Gateway Charges in case Booked from IRCTC).So if 5 paise/km increased fare,then increased fare=(0.05*2992)=Rs 149.60.So total Fare Rs 751.60/-This is too much.Congress is definitely going to loose next Elections.

*Trains announced in last budget are almost on track
* No so called world class stations on ground
* Izzat scheme status unknown the eligibility criteria it self is a major deterrent.
* GN Ticket vending kiosks are rare
* Green toilets are yet to be fitted on mass trains.
* Health centers on many railway stations are no where on ground
* PPP scheme failed to attract investors
