First time I travelled on this train from Ballarshah in a sleeper compartment to Chennai as. It was bang on time . infact i was standing near the door during my entire journey . The main entertainment was the movement of the trains on the parallel track and some songs. This train is really the unbeatable one on this route. The Loco was a WAP 4 of Edode . This overtook a lot of trains. First one was JP-MYS express near Chandrapur . It overtook at the speed of nearly 80+ ( not sure as GPS is not accurate). Next it ignored all the big stations in AP like sirpur , Bellampalli . Even it did not stop at RAMAGUNDAM !!!! . Finally it stopped at Warangal . I started after a 6 min halt. near the door and had a chat with a person from pantry car. after 1.5 hrs Suddenly the train slowed and it went to a loop line and it overtook train. The pantry guy peeped his head and read the name board said it was Godavari express running late. He added TN regularly overtakes JP-CBE/MAS/MYS express , Charminar , Padmavathy on regular basis. This was the first overtake i saw in which a SF overtakes a SF. it had a 10 min halt before vijayawada . He said charminar might have obstructed its way. The said he needs to sleep and he left. It reached Vijawada at 12.35 p.m and departed at 12.50 p.m. . some Unreserved passengers boarded SL too. I was waiting that this one would crush charminar but was nt able to find . i slept at 1.15 as i could nt control my sleep any more and woke at morning 6.15 it was cruising past a station called Gummidipoondi. It reached Basin Bridge junction at 7.10 and it was halted for 5 mins. Then it started to move at snail's pace . I found MAS-CBE duronto. Then finally reached Central. When i saw the train details board , Charminar was yet to arrive. What is this train man !!!! . This is my first travelogue plz pardon if you find any mistakes.
