Lol there is no such thing as Congress and BJP all are part of the same coin !! Remember how 8 politicians jumped from Congress to BJP and this idiot Digambar said "God told me to join BJP for the welfare of the public". All are for money 💰💰 . "Potle gheun chala gharat !!"
It won't be that easy but maybe possible, also what if even KRCL is interested for the same thing i.e. transportation of coal and others from Vasco to Karnataka but in return they agree that even passengers trains will be taken care of and everything. But it won't be possible mainly because lot of meaning lot of freight movement is there from Vasco to Karnataka as well as in reverse to export from ships and it becomes easy if it is under a single division rather than split because then there will be slot issues for transfer from one zone to other. Remove the freight part then it was okay but Braganza Ghat carries mostly freight traffic rather than passengers and it will be more difficult for SWR is it comes under KRCL and they won't let it slip instead they will agree to people maybe even do everything what everyone...

swr doesnt have any port access under karnataka state if mangalore was under swr then swr would have let go vasco port
Personally I won't get into politics but only hope people allow double tracking to proceed without much hassle and SWR in return restores pre covid era trains to VSG and commission 2nd pitline at VSG soon.
Even I don't want to but this article mentioned about kamat jumping or changing statements during COVID and now. So I just wanted highlight how they play with the public. Even I want the best for the public with the double tracking issue so the both the parties are satisfied but these politicians just play both the sides and then later refrain about what they actually said they'll be doing. They should communicate both the ways so the best happens for the railways and people too. If people are protesting then they should make them understand what is it for !! Why is it for !! This is why Politicians are elected to speak on behalf of public and not to fill their pockets.

Rail12345 2244 blog postsAs per information, SER started talks with SCR and SWR to remove Slip coaches inorder to convert the ICF rakes of 18047 Amravati Exp to LHB coaches and convert it to Superfast Exp.
If it happens soon it will be a good move beneficial for passengers.

As per latest information, SWR and SCR has agreed for removing the Slip coaches and allowing SER to LHBfy Amravati Exp preliminaryly. Some more discussion can happen maybe if required.
