Coming to Spl express which operates on other 3days all the AC classes are available for this week. This is because of no tatkal quota and fare bring Rs 200 extra for all berths while Tatkal costs Rs 300 and 400 extra for 3AC and 2AC. Sleeper class in WL for this week and RAC next week. This shows that demand for SL in more in weekdays then in AC classes. I have quoted this in many posts in last 4 yrs that the second rake of Cocanada should be a normal rake with SL and even the SC VSKP duronto with Sleeper class. I regularly book tickets every month for my uncle in SC Kakinada and return in 2AC and I find availability in spl everytime. When cocanada is WL we shift to next day SPL.

At 1330 the positions are as follows and after chart preparation the position is all berths are filled.

RAC is booked for 5 berths per coach @ 2 passengers per berth.
Booking at end in SL WL+RAC 78 + 30 Total 108 - 57 = 51 passengers left out in SL are upgraded to 3ACE
Coming to 3ACE WL+RAC 3+50 Total 53 unallocated quota in 3ACE 91 - 51( upgraded from SL) = 40 so 13 are upgraded to 3AC.
Now 3AC WL+RAC 8+50 Total 58 are allocated berths in 3AC in remaining berths after upgradation.
I'm last 2 days there is no further booking in SL but 3ACE 200 new booking happened (150 available + 50 in RAC) this shows some people have opted for 3ACE due to WL in sleeper class. So there is a clear demand for another 2-3SL. If sleeper are not upgraded then they will be current availability after chart preparation in 3ACE and 3AC.
