RailwayFiles~ 236 blog postsIm surprised, i have booked a ticket from Belagavi to Mysuru for 17-Nov-2023 four days ago, while i was booking, availability was RAC132 showing in green colour. I was doubting how can RAC go till 132, today after that chat was prepared my ticket's current status became RAC S5/63 but booking status is showing as WL5. What is this ? Is railways cheating us ? At the time of booking if the availability was shown as WL5 i wouldn't have booked the ticket only because it was shown as RAC i booked it. A year ago even WL used to be metioned clearly at the time of booking whether it is GNWL or PQWL or RQWL etc, now its only WL. Is this a new fraud by railways ??
