Railfan_SRDiv^~ 2419 blog postsThis train return timing should be changed. After it arrives ADI at 12:00 PM , it should start the return journey at 20:00 PM at evening to arrive HWH at 08:30 AM. This would make the train 2 nights and 1 day train and more convienient for daily passengers and office goers. Also in that case it will have enough Secondary Maintanence time at ADI (around 8 hours) - so even if it gets late between HWH to ADI , it has enough time to start its return at night 20:00 PM

Dep at 2000 is too tight with SM in case of any late by 2hrs. At ADI 2125 3hrs before will be good. Next year when 130kmph is implemented in TT then running time will decrease by 2hrs and cab be made complete overnight.
What is the number of hours needed for SM ? If HWH ADI speed could be improved and they can leave at 21:30 PM yes that would be good ! They can arrive at 08:00 ish at HWH ! I dont know why railways dont get ideas like this ! Sometimes I feel we railfans have better plans than actual authorities ! lol

SM or PM will take 5-6 hrs. After arrival on PF for shunting into pitline 30-60 mins depending on availability and return to PF it should leave pitline before 45 mins dep time , 1-2 hrs gaps to absorb late. 8hrs for PM or SM and another 2hrs time gap. If the destination has pitlines and less originating trains the turn around will be less.
Timing of this train must be made convenient for Passengers.

18.40 hrs slot of now cancelled 12249; 19.50 hrs slot was old slot of 12810, 20.20 hrs slot of now cancelled 13039; 20.40 hrs slot of 22803(shifted to SHM).
