It was recently converted to LHB from ICF. The AC coaches went up from miniscule 3/4 to a gargantuan 15. The result: I saw people traveling standing in the vestibules/doors of AC coaches.
It covers 1600km with 49 stoppages that is stop at every 30km with 47kmph and runs from Tier - 2 towns to Punjab to transport farm and factory labour. There is no reason to make it run with 15AC coaches rather run with SL and GS with 6-8 AC coaches. They should introduce a new biweekly train with less stoppages and faster train with more AC coaches then this train. There are more such trains like Dhanbad Alleppy, East coast which should be spared from more AC coaches given the number stoppages and avg speed.
Mai=king Railway travel out of hands of Common Indians surely is the road to Bhikaristan. The Economical divide of Indians is being increased more & more.
