The Grand Trunk Express is like, the main vein for loads of tiny towns on the GT Route. It's like the fast track connection to Delhi and Chennai for a bunch of those little stops along the way. Yeah, maybe it's a bit slower than the fancy Tamil Nadu Express, but GT holds its own against TN despite having more stops. It's only 2 hours longer than TN Express between Chennai and New Delhi, but with 24 extra stops. For a train buff like me who grew up in a small town in MP, this train is like everything. I can remember so many trips on this train from my town to Delhi and Bhopal. When I was a kid, I used to get super emotional seeing this train coming in at 5 pm in the evening. Honestly, no other train can top GT for me. If I had to pick between Chennai and New Delhi, I'd totally go with GT.

Grand Trunk Express sahi me bahut important hai for all the chhote chhote towns jo GT Route par hai. Ye train provide karta hai fast connection to Delhi and Chennai se kai chhote stations tak. Koi shak nahi hai ki ye thoda slow hai as compared to Tamil Nadu Express but GT me kamm bhi nahi hai TN se Even with zyada stoppages, GT sirf 2 ghante slow hai TN Express se between Chennai and New Delhi, lekin 24 extra stoppages ke saath. Ek railfan jo hamesha se small town se hai MP me, ye train mere liye sab kuch hai. Main is train me kayi safar yaad kar sakta hu apne town se Delhi aur Bhopal ke liye. Bachpan me mujhe ye train dekh kar rona aata tha jab ye shaam ko 5 baje aati thi. Mere liye koi train isse badi nahi hai. Agar mujhe Chennai aur New Delhi ke beech select karne ka mauka mile, to main pakka GT ko prefer karunga.

Has this train permanently moved to Tambaram? Because of its extension, the average speed has gone down. It would be cool if this train and its counterpart could speed up.

GT Express needs to chill and skip some stops, man. I feel like these stops are just not needed and are messing with its speed. Here are the stops that gotta go: Ganj Basoda, Morena, Dhaulpur, Raja ki Mandi, Amla JN, Hinganghat.

Railway ko GT Express ke kuch halts ko hatana chahiye, mere hisaab se ye halts avoidable hain jo priority ko kam karte hain. Niche diye gaye halts ko hatana chahiye:

2. Morena
3. Dhaulpur
4. Raja ki Mandi
5. Amla JN
6. Hinganaghat
