MANGALORE: In addition to 96 Summer Special Trains, already announced on Konkan Railway Route recently, Konkan Railway, in co-ordination with Central Railway, has introduced 76 additional Special Trains between Mumbai CST and Pernem, barring Tuesdays and Wednesdays.Train No. 01039 / 01040 CSTM - Pernem will operate from April 19 to June 9. While 01039 train will leave CSTM at 12.30 pm amand reach Pernem at 12.30 pm; 01040 train will leave Pernem at 1 pm and reach CSTMat 12.20 am the next day. The train will halts at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Rajapur, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal and Sawantwadi stations.With these two additional trains, the total number of Summer Special Trains being run on Konkan Railway Route during the summer season goes to 172.
