Hisar : A tractor-trailer that broke down in the middle of a railway level crossing on Balsamand Road here yesterday forced the Kisan Express to halt at some distance from the crossing for more than 20 minutes.A farmer of Rawalwas Khurd village, Suresh, was driving the tractor-trailer loaded with wheat bags. The hook of the trolley snapped while passing over the crossing, blocking the rail track.The gateman informed the stationmaster who asked the driver of the train to stop it and wait outside the city till the track was cleared. Railway Protection Force officials then hired a crane to clear the track.The tractor driver has been booked under the Railways Act.
