The City Police arrested two persons and seized fake indian currency with face value of Rs 4.65 lakh allegedly printed and imported from Pakistan from them.Addressing a press conference here today, City Police Commissioner J Purnachandra Rao said the police arrested Kasiram Mandal of West Bengal and Dabba Ravikumar of Palakollu in West Godavari District yesterday while they were moving about with fake notes at Visakhapatnam Railway Station. Police seized fake currency with face value of Rs 2.65 lakh from Ravikumar and Rs two lakh from Kasiram Mandal.The Commissioner said preliminary enquiry revealed Saleem alias Nazeer and Sameer of Chayapada Village of West Bengal near Bangladesh border were securing the fake indian currency notes from Pakistan and circulating it among criminals in India and using the funds for terror activities.
