Sep 23 2011 (14:55) Blog Post# 242243-0 Guest: 3e9c2bca Added by: KishorWhoAJE2here~ Sep 23 2011 (15:07) I have one e-ticket booked for 2 person, both er in WL as of now. Please let me know the refund amount if I cancel the ticket on the DOJ for the below scenarios : 1. Both passengers are in WL 2. 1 passenger in RAC and one in WL 3.... more... DOj cancellation is done before the final chart is prepared. actually the final chart was prepared before 24 hours before the train started. after the final chart prepared, the passengers is in W/L ticket automatically cancelled by the railway authorities. Rs. 40-80 reducted in a ticket. if RAC or confirmed tickets, cancelled before the chart preparation and deducted the same amount. if u can't cancel the ticket before the chart preparation, TDR request was made. after 90 days if the TDR is approved the 50% of the amount refund to the agents account. the previous blog seems that the chart is prepared before 24 hours. it not corect. it is 2 - 4 hours For 2nd part: You can cancele your eTicket Online by vising same site same booking id before charting. One needs to file TDR [after 24 hr of train charting(next day)] if charting done with appropriate reason. 1/2. Rs. 20 shall be deducted. 3/4. If chart is not prepared then same as 1/2 If chart is prepared, then you need to file TDR and 50% of the base fare shall be refunded (Usual refund amount => Subject to condition) |
