Situation 4: Trains from West going to East (Azad Hind, Jnaneshwari, PUNE/CSTM-HWH Duronto, etc.) – Cross the Diamond crossing to continue their journey towards Gondia / Bilaspur
.
Same as pic in Entry# 750874 - Take right turn after departing Nagpur

Situation 5: Trains from South going to North (Rajdhanis/TN/GT/Kerala/AP/Dakshin/APSK/TNSK/KSK, etc.) – These trains enter Nagpur from Balharshah – Sewagram side. As Sewagram is on the CSTM-NGP-HWH Mainline, these trains enter NGP from mainline itself just like the trains from West-East do. As a result, you can see the above trains on any of PFs at NGP.
.
When they depart NGP, they take a left turn towards Amla / Itarsi side. The passengers in these trains are able to see the diamond crossing on the right side, but they do not cross

it as the train is entirely on a different track.
.
Please consider the Pink Line. The Green line has been erroneously marked by IRI Atlas.

South – North track: This is generally used by freight trains as this line joins the Nagpur freight yard located parallel to the station. The yard is connected to both HWH Mainline towards Sewagram and Itarsi line.

Freight Yard to Itarsi side: Cross Diamond Crossing
Freight Yard to Gondia / Bilaspur side: No Diamond Crossing

Yard to Sewagram Side: No Diamond Crossing

The above inferences are purely my own based on own experiences and study of maps. Any corrections in the above data are most welcome. Waiting for inputs from Nagpur based members.
