of cement industry — Ambuja Cement and Shree Cement — are having units in Ras and the new rail link could pave the way for more cement units, exploring this place in Pali district. New rail track is to be financed partially by the Railways and partially by the cement units. Possession of land in Pali and Ajmer district is complete while talks are underway with government to get land with forest department for the project, which will cost `150 crore.
