12245/12246 has MPS of 110 marked on its coaches. MPS for SLR-LHB on standard tracks is 120 and for all other tracks is 105.
12245/46 thus does not cross more than 110 in any part of its journey.

To add, even LHB SLR has MPS of 110. This is why CDG-ASR Shatabdi had a MPS of 110 even though the LHB Coaches had its individual MPS of 160.

Even admins can update this - DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HYBRID AND PURE LHB

The only difference between original LHB coaches and hybrid LHB coaches is that the original LHB coaches have got the Y-shaped FIAT bogies whereas the hybrid LHB coaches have got ICF bogies

hybrid LHB coaches have LHB shell fitted over ICF bogies, it has max. speed of 120 kph as against 110 kph for fully ICF coaches......
while pure lhb coaches are made up of stainless steel & they have max. rated speed of 160 kph........

1. Pure LHB Coach:
These coaches were imported from Alstom LHB (Geramany). These coaches have a stainless steel shell mounted on FIAT bogies fitted with Disc breaks. CBC couplers. Even though the coaches were imported with ToT (transfer of technology) localisation has not reached the bogies and due to this, the FIAT bogies are being imported and are expensive. These type of coaches are certified fit to run at 160 Kmph.
2. Hybrid LHB coach :
We can either call it an innovation/cost cutting by RCF, which mounted the LHB shell on improved ICF bogies by including a Yaw dampner for improved riding quality. But due to this, the MPS of such Hybrid coaches has been restricted to 130 Kmph. The comments are that, even with improved ICF bogie, the ride quality is bad than the original LHB coaches with FIAT bogies. To give you an example the 12007/08 MAS-MYS shat is a pure LHB rake while MAS-NZM Duranto is a Hybrid rake with LHB shell and ICF bogies.
