Before Gauge Conversion, there was a daily train from Mangalore to Miraj Mahalaxmi Express. This was a connection train to Kolhapur to Mumbai Mahalaxmi Express. After Gauge Conversion this train was not restarted. Like this, Vasco-Miraj Express which was connecting train to Kolhapur-Mumbai Sahyadri Express was also not restated.

Hopefully Suresh Angadi and Prahlad Joshi know abt this and they ll draw attention of DVS to reintroduce both.

This is a thing of past now sir... Instead there should be a new train b/n the 2 cities either via Hubli or via Gulbarga.
