Many High speed zone has Ghats and trains are needed to slow down. Such stretches will be considered and then move ahead with other sections and improve the speed. So Madukkarai - Kanjikode can be kinda kept at the currect 60kmph in day and 45kmph at night.. PGT-SRR is 110 kmph anyways.. SRR - ERS-TVC via KTYM and Via ALLP track strengthening must take place and speed increased.

I doubt about Kollam-TVC stretch. It has lot of S curves.. So increasing speed will be very tight call.. From walayar till SRR east cabin, 110kmph(last time my gps based application showed the speed as 106kmph for quiet long time in walayar pgt stretch). The bhartapuzha bridge need to be strengthened for 110kmph... and most important things, stops need to be taken off

Bharathapuzha cant be increased until the bridge is strengthened.. TVC-Qln can be upgraded to 100kmph for sure if the track strengthening is done properly. Infact some parts were 100+ enabled also. Stoppages are for sure going to go off in september.
