The entire Kerala region wouldn't object to new trains THROUGH Mangalore to North and Central Karnataka provided some of them benefit Kerala passengers too.Likewise,lets wait for budget
Thanks. Trains can start from Kerala (TVC, ERS, PGT, CLT,CAN etc) and pass through MAQ to different points of Karnataka and AP/ TG. Will benefit all. Apart from distance saving, will provide connectivity to Malayalees living in these states. Trains from KL can link MRJ, HYB, PUNE, BGM, BJP, etc.
How? They'll anyways be in Remote Location/Station Waiting List if they come from Kerala or TN. So they are of no use whatsoever. Trains for Mangalore have to START from Mangalore Central and Junction.
Mangalore can have dedicated trains starting to UBL,but it would be better if trains to HYB or PUNE start from ERS or TVC.
I am totally surprised by your views today. Trains from MAQ/ MAJN towards karnataka towns and to Pune necessarily should start from MAQ/ MAJN. There can be trains from Kerala/ TN for long distance ones like GJ/ RJ etc. Still I would prefer atleast a weekly train from MAQ to Jaipur or ASR.
