departure at 06:00 would be a waste as it would be forced to wait for Chennai SF's OT, which itself may be running slightly delayed and will end up trailing.
This would greatly reduce the importance of this train as UBL-SC express which departs at 07:10 would end up arriving not much later than this one.
It needs better Departure time, but 06:00 won't be beneficial for anyone.

TT should have been a Early morning departure form GR and lateevng dep from Hyb...like 5:30 AM @ GR and 5:30 PM at HYB should have been a pretty good TT considering the ICE status ...

05:30 would be better departure, no doubt, but not sure that early departure would be acceptable to people
17:30 PM is a good dep timing, but a passenger train to GR from HYB already operates at 17:25. Unlikely SCR would give sanction to a train at that time that will eat into its own train revenues.

I don't think Chennai SF would overtake it. Since common track is only till WADI, 36km OT is not necessary. Anyway when DD - GR gets double line, Chennai SF will be speeded up by at least half an hr and will run run ahead of this. Even till then, 10 mins gap with identical halts will not call for OT.
