HERITAGE STEAM RUN
Southern Railway will conduct a Heritage Run to commemorate the 157thAnniversary of the World’s oldest working Steam Locomotive EIR-21.The locomotive was first used in February 1855 between Howrah and Raneegunje.The special train, from Chennai Central to Perambur,will be hauled by the Steam Locomotive EIR-21.The train will leave Chennai Cental on 06.2.2012 (Monday) at 11.00 hrs. and arrive Perambur around 11.30 hrs.
