Court stay on houses on Metro DU plot
The Delhi High Court on Tuesday stayed any construction on a plot, slated to have a 36-storey residential complex near the Vishwavidyalaya Metro station, after admitting a petition by the Delhi University, which claimed that the high-rise structure will severely effect the control norms and aesthetic beauty of the North Campus.
Tourist buses from Shivaji Stadium station
Commuters of the Airport Metro Express Line can now take a direct bus to tourist destinations in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. While inter-state luxury buses to Jaipur and Ahmedabad were introduced on Monday at Shivaji Stadium station, buses to the other destinations are expected to start shortly.
