A Zonal level Conference of Sr. Divisional Operations Managers of Western Railway was held in W.Rly.HQ office on 16th and 17th May, 2012 which was attended by Heads of Operating department of all the six divisions of Western Railway. Performance review was done for the year 2011-12 in which aspects concerning Coaching, Freight, Safety and Infrastructure planning was discussed.Mahesh Kumar, General Manager, W.Rly. addressing the Conference of Sr.DOMs of Western Railway. Also seen are Deepak Gupta, Addl. General Manager and Amitabh Lal, the then Chief Operations Manager of Western Railway Mahesh Kumar, General Manager, W.Rly. complimented all the officers for achieving and surpassing the freight loading target for the financial year 2011-12. He also asked officers for making all efforts to generate additional new traffic which will further increase Western Railway revenues.In order to keep smooth mobility in train operations, requirements of infrastructural inputs for removal of bottlenecks were discussed....
