In order to provide suburban tickets more conveniently and to reduce queues at ticket counters to save time of its commuters, WR is planning to procure 490 more ATVMs for its suburban stations. WR has already increased the number of ATVMs from 115 to 171 in last two months. With 24 more ATVMs to be installed shortly, the total number will got upto 195. WR is also in the process of procuring 306 more new microprocessor based digital CVMs with digital display and better quality of ticket printing apart from 292 existing CVMs on its suburban network.
