Two youths died in separate incidents within 15 minutes of each other on Friday after falling off overcrowded locals between Dombivli and Diva railway stations. In another case, a man was grievously hurt after being hit by a train at Jogeshwari. The first case took place at 10.20am when Dombivli resident Darshak Gada (21) was standing on the footboard of a compartment in a CST-bound fast local and listening to music on his phone. Government railway police (GRP) officials suspect he lost his grip and fell near Kopar station. GRP personnel rushed Gada to the Shastri Nagar Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
