MUMBAI: Central Railway (CR) has suffered major dip in revenue earnings from film shoots in the financial year 2011-2012. It earned a mere Rs 61 lakh in the previous financial year - a drop of 55 per cent when compared with the revenue earnings for 2010-11.
According to figures provided by CR, the revenue from this source of income indicates a downward slide since 2009-10, during which it netted Rs 1.57 crore from 28 film making projects.
