Mumbai : Mumbai's traffic and rail services were disrupted on Thursday as the city experienced its first heavy rainfall of this year's monsoon season.Heavy rainfall started in Mumbai since last night and weather officials have said more showers are likely to take place in the next 24 hours.According to reports, local trains are running late by 35-40 minutes at Mumbai Central.Commuters are facing troubles on Thursday due to the delay.Several areas in the city including Goregaon, Khar, Jogeshwari, Malad and Bandra are waterlogged.The Met department has said heavy-to- very heavy rainfall is likely to occur in the Konkan and Mumbai coasts in the next 24 hours.Colaba recorded 21 mm of rains while Kandivili and Malad suburbs had nearly 45 mm rainfall.Santacruz recorded heavy rainfall of around 75mm till 9 am on Thursday.
