The 16779 Tirupati-Madurai Express, leaving Tirupati on July 22, Sunday, will be extended to Rameswaram.According to a Southern Railway press release, the train will leave Tirupati on July 22 at 1.15 p.m. and reach Madurai on July 23 at 5.55 a.m. Leaving Madurai at 6 a.m., the train will reach Rameswaram at 9.15 a.m.The inaugural service of the extended 16780 Rameswaram-Tirupati Express with increased frequency will begin at Rameswaram on July 23 at 4 p.m.It will reach Madurai at 7.05 p.m. and leave at 7.15 p.m.The train will reach Tirupati at 10.35 a.m., the next day.The increase in frequency of the 16779 Tirupati-Rameswaram Express will be from July 24.The extended train will leave Tirupati on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays and Rameswaram on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
