Mughalsarai: A goods train carrying coal jumped off the track on Thursday night, disrupting movement of trains, including Rajdhani Express, on the busy route between New Delhi and Howrah.
Twenty six wagons of the train derailed at a place between Bhagua and Durgawati stations at around 9.15 pm but there was no casualty or injury to drivers or guard of the train, Additional Divisional Railway Manager of Mughalsarai Ramesh Chandra said.
The goods train was coming from Dhanbad to Mughalsarai junction.

Trains going from New Delhi to Howrah, Sealdah and Puri have also been asked to take Patna-Gaya routes.
A relief train has been sent to the accident spot from Mughalsarai.
Chandra said efforts are on to clear at least one track so that train movement can be partially resumed.
