It was a chilly day in the Capital on Saturday with shallow foggy conditions in the morning delaying 55 trains, while 29 others were rescheduled.
The minimum temperature settled at 8.2 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, while the maximum temperature was pegged at 21.6 degrees, a notch below the season’s average, a MeT Department official said.

Flight operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport were normal, airport officials said.
Authorities have predicted mainly clear skies for Sunday with mist to shallow fog in the morning.
“Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle around 22 and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively,” the weatherman said.
On Friday, the minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 7.9 degrees Celsius and 24.4 degrees Celsius respectively. PTI
