In case of EMUs, acceleration and braking both are super quick. As the MPS is 130 km/h only, it is just as safe as any other 130 MPS train. But yes, additional safety measures would be required for those who are inside.

as of today, there is negligible difference between ABB and CLW made WAP5 locos. Both types of locos are used with Gatimaan. Report : click here
180 seconds is ridiculously high for 110 km/h that too with Gatimaan's load. With Bhopal Shatabdi (18 coaches), WAP5 takes ~3 minutes to achieve 150 km/h in the best cases.
