Good thing with Sagarmala project is that
(1) it is easiest among others to implement because there is minimal land acquisition difficulties and
(2) No municipal body/ panchayat/ state Govt can obstruct or put hindrances to the coastal waterways.

Being a profitable and inevitable mode of global transportation, Private participation is already very high in this sector. Private funds will easily flow in.

India presently fares very poorly in the arena of Shipping and ports at global level. Private funding had been elusive except in Gujrat, thanks to the stellar role of Modiji as Gujrat CM. Now with governance of the nation in his hands, we can very well expect the success will be replicated through out the coastline of India.
