of India for providing card swipe machines.
“These initiatives are being taken to encourage cashless transactions at railway stations. The PoS facilities are initially introduced for reserved ticket and parcel booking counters. We would soon introduce the cashless facility at the counters of unreserved tickets,” he said.
WCR is planning to extend such facilities at other railway stations of the zone also.
“More stations of the zone would soon be covered. SBI has so far installed 13 machines at these four railway stations,” Yadav added.
